This place is a true GEM! We returned several times during our visit from NY. Jocelyn was our server each time and then we returned one last time for dinner. The Fried Chicken Sandwich was superb and your staff is absolutely wonderful! As New Yorker we are big on our coffee and your coffee was outstanding! Thank you for making our visit one of the best and we will be returning next year!

My wife and I had dinner last evening and it was our 1st night in Charleston. The fried catfish was a great choice. The food and atmosphere were great but what really made our day was Jillian, our waitress ! She was friendly and attentive. She went out of her way to suggest what to do during our stay. She even wrote a list of museums and art galleries for us to visit ! After we left the restaurant, she even chased us down the street to return my wife’s jacket that she left on the back of her seat ! We had a totally great experience !!!

I was walking in downtown Charleston and liked the name. It looked like a nice place for lunch. I was treated by the owner. He suggested their signature tomato soup. So I ordered tomato soup, a barbecue sandwich, and a wedge salad. It was delicious! Beautifully prepared. The salad had fresh chives, hard boiled egg, bacon, cherry tomatoes, and the right amount of homemade dressing. I tipped and complimented the chef. Something is good should be recognized. Delicious!

Normally I'm skeptical of hipster-looking restaurants with arugula, but my brother said it had good reviews. Among other things, we ordered the catch-of-the-day salmon sandwich, I got the fried flounder&shrimp, and the pork shoulder. Food was phenomenal. The fried seafood had that crispy cornmeal batter and lots of Old Bay seasoning. More importantly, the staff was very overwhelmed but kept their cool and were really nice people. Highly recommended!

Came in for the best Moscow mule in Charleston. Drank up and wasn't disappointed. Left satisfied. . . Definitely wanted to try the grill here as they had a lot of good looking options on the menu, but the night wasn't ready for food. Cheers!

Our server was an absolute delight, offering great recommendations with an infectious enthusiasm that made us eager to try everything she suggested. And the food was undeniably flavorful, and served piping hot! The drinks at The Rarebit were equally spectacular, showcasing a creative flair and a commitment to using high-quality ingredients. The mules and that ginger vanilla lime punch were divine! We ordered the shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles and both were absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic without being overbearing. Cool vibe atmosphere with '80s music.

Great place to grab a bite. The service was excellent and the staff super friendly. They had vegetarian options for me and great meat options for my meat eating friends. The She Crab soup was yummy-according to my friend.
